The primary election is March 17th. Voters who choose to vote by mail can register to receive their mail in ballot. Requests can be made as late as March 12th, but they must be mailed no later than March 17th.

Your vote matters! This is a critical year for elections. From the March 17th primaries to the MidTerms in November, your vote is important for securing our democracy.

Registering to vote or updating your voter registration is easy. You can do this online today or register to vote at any polling location. Just have two forms of ID, one with your current address. For more information, CLICK HERE​

VOTING INFORMATION

Early voting begins February 5, 2026 at the downtown supercenter. There are two early voting locations that cover the 1st Ward that will be open as of March 2nd.

 

  • Goldblatts Building: 1625 W. Chicago Ave

  • Bucktown Library: 1701 N Milwaukee Ave

Operating hours are as follows:

​

  • Weekdays: 9:00am – 6:00pm

  • Saturdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Sundays: 10:00am – 4:00pm

​

On Election Day, March 17th, the polling places listed below will open up in 1st Ward precincts:
