Election Judge Recruitment is in full swing for the March 17, Primary Election.
Anyone interested in serving as an Election Judge may apply online at pollworker.chicagoelections.gov.


VOTE BY MAIL
The primary election is March 17th. Voters who choose to vote by mail can register to receive their mail in ballot. Requests can be made as late as March 12th, but they must be mailed no later than March 17th.

Your vote matters! 2026 is a critical year for elections. From the March 17th primary to the MidTerms in November, your vote is your voice! You can register to vote and update your voter registration online. You can also register at any polling location. Just bring two forms of ID, one with your current address. Deadlines for March 17th Primary Election
February 17, 2026 - Last day of paper voter registration ahead of the Primary Election.
February 18, 2026 - First day of Same Day Registration.
March 1, 2026 - Last day to register to vote online at ova.elections.il.gov.

Early voting begins February 5, 2026. There are two early voting locations that cover the 1st Ward.
